From concept to live pilot
We went from concept in December 2025 to a prototype in about 30 days, and to a live, citizen-facing pilot in March 2026.

Navi Vani is six connected agents. Together they decide who to call, why and how, speak to citizens in Marathi, Hindi or English, and link every payment back to the intervention.

What the pilot did
In the 7-day pilot it made 30,171 calls to 17,623 properties; 2,000 properties paid after the call, and ₹88.84 crore was collected from called properties during the pilot period, including ₹11.54 crore from owners who had not paid in three to five years or more.
04 · Why it matters
A reference implementation
Navi Vani has been nominated for the SKOCH Award. For me it proves something bigger: agentic AI can materially improve government revenue operations, and Navi Mumbai is the first reference implementation.
